چکیده
To investigate the buoyancy characteristics of building façades, this study deals with experimental and numerical investigations on façade flow temperature field in different conditions height-aspect ratio facade. PIV measurements are conducted a static wind platform for obtaining mean velocity, vertical velocity horizontal around surface. simulate plume accurately, adopt three model compared results data. The result indicated that simulation RNG k-ε best agreement Analysis speed kept increasing direction, while first increased then decreased direction. air tended to be constant but drooped sharply As heat density increases, facade strength increases. When wall increases from 100W/m2 200 W/m2, maximum by 1.6 m/s 15 °C.

Simulation of a mannequin's thermal plume in a small room
Simulation results are presented for the buoyancy-driven flow in a small room containing a seated mannequin that is maintained at a constant temperature. The study was motivated, in part, by a published experimental study of the thermal plume around a human subject. The presented results are a step toward the goal of using DNS to develop a more detailed understanding of the nature of the flow i...
متن کاملASCAT wind quality under high subcell wind variability conditions
The assessment and validation of the quality of satellite scatterometer vector winds is challenging under increased subcell wind variability conditions, since reference wind sources such as buoy winds or model output represent very different spatial scales from those resolved by scatterometers (i.e., increased representativeness error). In this paper, moored buoy wind time series are used to as...

For typzcal supercooled fog conditions found in cold northern regions, four rime ice accretwns on the 5809 wmd turbine airfoil were predicted usi...
متن کاملThermal plume turbulence
A two-dimensional Boussinesq model of thermal convection is investigated by numerical simulations. The turbulent heat transport is mainly due to thermal plumes. It is shown that their thin, wrinkled interfaces control the statistics of large temperature excursions. Away from the interfaces, the temperature fluctuations are strongly suppressed and the field in those regions is well mixed. Their ...
